Born in Texarkana, TX, Kevin moved to Staunton, VA with his family in 1990. While a student at Robert E. Kevin's first foray into the political world occurred in 2002 when he joined the finance department of Senator Mark Pryor's campaign (the only Democratic pickup of the 2002 cycle). After the campaign he returned to Hendrix to complete his B.A.
Upon graduation he returned to Virgina to work for Tim Kaine's gubernatorial campaign where he developed and deployed a number of applications for the campaign. After the Governor's campaign he joined Jim Webb's long shot effort to unseat George Allen as IT Director and webmaster. He directed a team of paid and volunteer designers, developers, and bloggers throughout the campaign, which ended with Senator Webb winning by less than 10,000 votes.
Kevin maintains his own business IT and web development business in Richmond, VA, Political Synapse. He has collaborated with Star City Design on several projects. He currently lives in Glen Allen with his wife Rachel.
